These are placed in between certain adjacent cells, and indicate that the number placed in one cell is greater than or less than the neighbouring cell. The '>' sign is a greater than sign, whilst the ' 2 whilst 1 That's all there is to it! Armed with just these few simple rules and requirements, each puzzle can be solved and you'll be able to reach the unique solution for each puzzle through the application of logical rules alone: you won't ever need to guess. And all solutions are provided at the back of the book for the 100 puzzles.
