As author Elizabeth Stuckey begins her new book, Path of Destruction, she states that every person is shown two paths to take in life: the path of righteousness and the path of destruction. Since God gives us free will, we, humans, are able to determine which path we traverse. However, the challenges of this world can darken our views and lead us down unrighteous paths. Path of Destruction encourages readers to choose to be servants of God instead of seeking one's own desires. She explains that there is a battle of flesh vs. spirit within us, but how we can combat this is surrendering all to God and embracing positive attitudes instead of negative attitudes. Changing our mindsets toward more godly mindsets in life will affect not only the path we follow toward God: it also promotes more godly mindsets toward finances and in bringing our youth to Christ successfully.
