In 1965, at the age of 40, Hansford H. Rowe left Richmond, Virginia for New York City where he spent the next 25 years of his professional life. He never looked back. With several movies and 300 commercials to his credit, he has been nominated by Drama Desk for a Tony Award for his performance in Nuts. He has performed in numerous stage plays both on- and off-Broadway, and toured around the world performing in Porgy & Bess and Sound of Music. In 1989, Hansford decided to move to Los Angeles, California, and has been featured in numerous TV episodes, commercials and movies.
