Words are very powerful and I didn't understand the depth of its power until I realized that my world was being framed by my words. I created this devotion because at one point in my life; I had a bad habit of speaking and glorifying the bad and negative things in my life. I simply thought I was being realistic in speaking the truth about my situation. It wasn't until years later and even after I gave my life to God that I understood how powerful my words were. When I came into the knowledge and understanding of this; I began to change my words BUT in order to change my words, I had to change my mindset first. I had to allow the word of God to saturate my mind so that my tongue (what I spoke) was in line with the word of God and not my feelings or even my current truth. When I begin to do this, I saw things in my life, relationships, finances and faith change. Some were instant and others were over a period of time.
