A Coloring Book for Grown-Ups with illustrations from the Middle Ages and a twist of poetry! Strange, mystical and esoteric illustrations from the late 1500s and early 1600s, called "emblems," are printed full-page, opposite each poem.

The poems are brief meditations on the ecstasy of temporal and spiritual yearning and desire. Each of the 40 poems is accompanied by a large black and white illustration on the opposite page, suitable for coloring or taking out of the book, if desired. The detailed drawings are ancient emblems of moral and divine instruction that were collected into volumes in 1635 by George Wither.

In this collection, Collection One, the original illustrations have been edited and cleaned up from dark, original scans, so that readers can enjoy personalizing their books by coloring with colored pencils (or with markers, if the pages are removed).

60 Things - Collection One can be enjoyed as an adult coloring book, by customizing the experience of the poems with favorite colors, drawings, and artistic expressions.
