Emily Robertson is a struggling artist trying to make ends meet. Finding herself caught up in the fast-paced life of San Francisco, she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Overwhelmed, and needing to escape, she does something completely out of character. She quits her job, and buys a ticket to Australia. With hardly any money in her pocket, she begins the journey of a lifetime. Accepting a ride from the handsome Italian winemaker Marco Antonelli, her mistrust of the pompous man begins to change as they share their adventure together. That is, until she learns about the mysterious Sofia. Can she trust him not to break her heart? Too late, she's fallen in love with him.
