Latter-Day Pamphlets was a group of pamphlets that was published in 1850, written by Thomas Carlyle. They consisted in a denunciation of what he saw to be the religious, social and political foibles of the era. The book famously argues on the side of slavery, however, it failed to garner the approval of the British public.
