A trip to a reporters' convention enables Newspaper Editor, Ann L. Luste, to explain how love trumps pride. Ann tells Ruth T. Thaif the story of how Clay Berry was thrust in the middle of strange and exciting encounter with Jake, Sherry and Katy Rader. Leaving family and friends, Jake and Sherry are sent on a mission to neutralize Ieke Rollands, the megalomaniac strongman who guides friend and companion Kareem Razier toward self-indulgent aggression and wanton destruction. Ieke discovers a powerful tool to assault the order of the Knights of St. John. To his disappointment things change. Jake, his wife and fellow knight Sherry, confront Ieke head on.
