The Thornton Family
Maurice Thornton
This is a love story of an African American family living in the American South during the late 1800's until the present time. It traces their linage though the use of DNA and Census Reports. It tells their story through a Narrator. The Story Teller was almost like a mystery writer as he uncovers and reveals an exceptional family. We applauded the fortitude and endurance of this multi-generational family as they fought to keep their dignity and pride during those times in the racial segregated South. We then saw the Family contribute to the New American South.
