Nate Harver, Portland, Oregon Private Investigator, finds himself entangled in a web of international political and religious upheaval. The heiress who hired him to find out what happened to a large part of her fortune has been killed in a suspicious car wreck. Nate's investigation links the missing fortune to a mysterious neocon religious organization. Dead bodies pile up when a team of assassins and gang of skinheads ascend on the City of Roses.
