Angel Poles: The true story of Britain's most famous walking poles and the Angels they carried. In 2016 I ran a 185 mile race to raise money for SANDS. On my walking poles, were the names of 70 babies, either still born or who died shortly after birth. After the event I accidentally lost these Angel Poles but felt their story should be told. The Angel Poles tell their own tale of how they completed some of the hardest endurance events in the U. K. Each Pole Angel family was also invited to share their own unique experiences.
