Young Parker Morley's dream was studying journalism at Bendix University It wouldn't be easy though; before gaining acceptance to the university he had to be approved by the "Board of Admissions", a pair of stone gargoyles that guarded the front gates of the university, and the wrath of the school jock Eddie Thorton. But our young Morley blissfully soldiered on and three years later he faced his next challenge; surviving Senior Week. Not an easy thing to do when you wake up hanging from the roof of the admin building with your mouth taped shut and feet glued to the gutter. He managed to survive and in the process gained several new friends. After graduation he took a job working for Mr. Gabble, the editor for the Daily Herald. His first assignment had been to interview the Master of the King's Dungeons but the poor man was stoned out of his mind. Later on he interviewed the Lord of Ahren Castle and for several days came face to face with both the lord himself and his animated suit of armor Basil. But Morley wasn't alone in the castle and each night he was to meet his biggest challenge yet; and she was a master of the Marital Arts. What could possibly happen to our young journalist next?
