Beasley's Christmas Party is a sharply observed, warmhearted tale of a very unusual holiday gathering. Mr. Beasley is a remarkably quiet gentleman, especially for a politician. He lives alone and never gives his neighbors any trouble. So when he starts behaving strangely, the cub reporter that just moved in next door decides to investigate. What starts out as idle curiosity grows in intensity as Beasley becomes a favored contender for the governor's seat, and culminates in a Christmas Eve to remember.
