THE COUNT IS BACK!

The thrilling story of The Count of Monte Cristo is famous worldwide.

Here is the sequel!

In The Count of Monte Cristo, Edmond Dantes was a young sailor who, in 1815, returned to Marseilles with great expectations. But Dantes' enemies had him imprisoned in the dungeons of Château D'If. In prison, Dantes met and befriended an Italian abbé who educated him and then, in death, helped him escape with a fabulous secret of a treasure on the island of Monte Cristo. Rich and posing as the Count of Monte Cristo, Dantes returned with a beautiful companion named Haidee to destroy those who ruined his life.

In this sequel, the story continues.

Starting in the midst of the action of Count, Son of Monte Cristo starts dramatically with the arrival of the Count of Monte Cristo at the wedding of Eugenie Danglars, daughter of Dantes enemy, and the Italian Count Andrea Cavalcanti.

One of the Dantes enemies, a former galley-slave named Caderouse, had been killed in a burglary at the Count of Monte Cristo. At the wedding the Count reveals that Andrea Cavalcanti was the murderer -- and is reality a criminal named Benedetto. Benedetto flees -- but not without a hefty portion of Eugenie's dowry in his pockets!

After his revenge, the Count of Monte Cristo married Haidee. Now, he has a son named Spero.

New adventures await him as he must fight against the wiles of the notorious bandit, Benedetto, who has returned to wreak his own revenge!
