Here I Am...look at Me!

It's morning rush hour! In the never-ending, crazy rush to get kids off to school, a parent often overlooks the most important thing ... their child! Parents put great emphasis on what their kids are wearing and if they're groomed properly. All done in a mad rush, while trying to play "beat the clock" so everyone can arrive where they need to be on time. It's at a moment like this that a child's wisdom needs to be heard and listened to on a daily basis. We need to stop and look at the world through a child's perspective. Parents work hard teaching their children, but there are also things we can learn from them! More is not always better, and simplicity has a lasting effect. The author taught preschool for 12 years, which helped her gain more insight into child/parent relationships.
