The STEMI Provider Manual is a self-study booklet that enables out-of-hospital and emergency department healthcare providers to increase assessment, diagnosis and rapid treatment of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Emphasis is placed on assessing patients and providing treatment within the recommended 30-minute door-to-needle time and 90-minute door-to-balloon time. The manual contains information on systems of care for STEMI, effective STEMI identification and treatment and acute coronary syndromes (ACS) pathophysiology. A "12-Lead Electrocardiogram" section includes electrocardiograms (ECGs) with annotations for self-study.
