TWENTY-FIVE MISSIONS IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER: A JOURNAL AND MEMOIR is one man's account of his wartime experience as a radio operator on a B-17; as one of many young men who went selflessly into battle at a time when we were united against common enemies. The entries into his notebook were his own words, written often at night in his bunk with a flashlight, and at times telling about incidents that only he experienced. His added stories paint both a warm and sometimes tragic picture of what it was like to serve in the military during that time; it adds to our collective history.
