Hannaville is a small American town, nestling at the feet of The Catskills, in New York state. Its residents include Katrina Van Klint, Marguerita Hump. the Rev Peter Poynter, Chief Redbud, and a host of equally wacky, yet totally believable eccentrics, whose outrageous antics enrich and confuse the life of the dandy dentist, Salgoud Yennick. When Salgoud meets the love of his life, he has a problem:is she really a woman? Or does Morgana Sanchez come from non-human realms? Is she an enchantress like Morgana le Faye, who once caught the great Merlin in her magic? Or are we simply not used , here in Hannavilla, to ravishing, Latina drug dealers with exotic manners?
