The Old Testament of the Holy Bible can sometimes be difficult to comprehend, leaving the reader frustrated. Why? How? What?! These are often the questions that we ask ourselves, leaving us three choices. We can either dismiss what we read, accept what we read without question, (living our entire life on baby food), or we can dig into God's Holy Word, and get to the meat of scripture. The intention of this novel is to not only bring the people of the Old Testament to life, thereby peaking your interest, but to give plausible answers to some of the tough questions. I have been studying God's word for twenty years because I just can't get enough. And the reason I can't get enough, is because God is never done teaching me, and blessing me. For the deeper you dig, and the more you show an interest in God's Word, the more blessings you will receive. This is my hope for you. This is the first installment in a series that will cover the historical aspect of the Old Testament. I pray that this will lead you to open your Bible. And when you come to a passage that raises your eyebrow, do not skim over it, dig for an explanation. It was written for a reason!
