Marriage is a beautiful union designed by God. While there is no magic formula, or one size fits all process for finding "The One' which to spend the rest of your life with in holy matrimony a blueprint is available in the Word of God.


Left to our own devices we may feel the need to assist God in finding the "one" and attempt to maintain a marriage in our own strength. However, in doing so, we run the risk of experiencing trials and tribulations that can manifest unwanted consequences and the possibility of being caught up in difficult negative situations that could have been avoided if we only wait and listen for God. His timing is perfect!


Boot Camp for Marriages is a book designed to compare the intimate relationship of dating and marriage to military bootcamp. It is our desire through this book that God will reveal to you winning strategies and principles for your marriage. Just as basic military training prepares each service member for their military careers, we pray this manual will help prepare you and your spouse for your life-long marriage together.


Darrin and LaShawn Aden, are both retired military veterans of the United States Air Force. In addition to various ministry responsibilities they have a passion and desire to equip and empower couples in maintaining a loving, thriving and successful marriage. They conduct seminars, speaking engagements, and marriage coaching. They are the Directors for Marriage Enrichment as members of DREEMM (Deliverance, Restoration, Education and Empowerment for Me Ministries), located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Darrin Aden is the author of I Surrender. Darrin and LaShawn have been married for 31 years and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
