Pre-School children are drawn to bright colors. Coloring books offer an excellent opportunity for Pre-School children to explore how colors can complete a picture. It is also a great situation for learning how colors can be combined to make new colors. This is especially useful if a color is not present such as orange, combining some red coloring over a yellow color might produce the exact orange color that is required. Crayons are non-toxic for those concerned with accidental digesting.
