When humanity fell from grace, GOD did not leave us helpless. He sent us a book of truth and instructions for righteous living in a broken world plagued with sin. JESUS knew He would come into the world He created and restore the relationship between GOD and man. JESUS promised He would have a kingdom on Earth (John 16:16). According to the Book of Acts, JESUS established His kingdom, or Church on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 1:1-38). JESUS gave us specific instructions on how to become members of His Kingdom on Earth. GOD's intention was that all believers would be members of ONE CHURCH, the BODY of CHRIST (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22; Ephesians 5:23). After JESUS ascended to the FATHER, false religion and teachers were constantly attacking 'The Church'. Denominations did not exist... They were man made. In vain, the religious world is constantly seeking new ways to reach GOD. The Bible is clear in the simplicity of how people became Christians in the first century. The same pattern still holds true today and the future.
