Come, Walk With Me...
Jatinder Mohan
Not long ago, when people asked me about myself, I found it really easy to explain what I did. Now after all these years when I sat down to write about me for my book, it did not seem as simple and straight forward. I took time to gather my thoughts. I have been, and believe I continue to be, an entrepreneur at heart. It's been over a couple of decades since I stopped working for others and I believe it's the best decision I took back then. I just feel comfortable being my own boss with all the attendant risks. I have been a sales person and will continue to be that all my life. I am selling all the time- be it paint, television, ice cream or my training workshops. I have been training and teaching, it seems like for a really long time; and I love it. I love hearing my own voice and having an audience in front of me. Then I find that all through my journey of selling, training and teaching, there is one thing I have done with consummate ease and some success, and that has been my ability to tell stories. I realize that in all my avatars, my entire success has hinged on how I am able to weave stories. So, maybe it would be right to call myself a story teller...
