I have heard these words not once, but twice and I was left speechless in the process. No one else in my family had faced the reality of this incredible life altering event. No one in my friend's circle had heard these words either. I was alone in many ways.




This book is a collection of my thoughts and experiences many of which I have shared with newly diagnosed cancer patients such as you. To this day, I continue in this support of cancer survivors, even though my diagnosis was almost a decade ago. It is not technical in nature that is left to your treatment team. It is intended to be a resource for real life events from me, one person, who was initially told that I had less than 6 months to live.
