thought she'd be using her master's degree for more than a job as coat check
girl, so when she gets a job curating a founders' museum for her college sorority,
she relishes the chance to track down the sorority's lost founding members' chairs.
Alt-rock band singer Sid Collins is happier than she's been in a while. Until
her grandmother dies and leaves her to sort out her hoarded mess, which includes
a couple of old chairs that Sid immediately puts up on Craigslist.










Katie's chair
quest leads her to the enigmatic Sid, and after they fall into bed, Sid offers
to help her find the remaining chairs. But when Katie discovers a stash of love
letters between Sid's grandmother and a famous female writer, she and Sid immediately
butt heads. Despite recognizing the historical significance, Sid is horrified
that the letters would put her grandmother's personal life on display, and even
she acknowledges the literary find of the century will make Katie's career, she
knows it might break their relationship.
