Wasted Salt is the fictionalized narrative of two marginalized immigrant women trying to find their way in America. Zahra is a Lebanese refugee sponsored by a Baptist church in Wichita, Kansas. Noor, an Egyptian American, is a webcam model who shares a musty basement room with Zahra.
