When Growing Up Is Magic is a window into a young person's imagination. These poems treat a young person's world and ideas with great respect.



For youth, these poems are confirmation. For adults, they take you into a kid's imagination. The result, I believe, is relational connection.



When Growing Up Is Magic is a compilation of poems about growing up, being home, family quirks, and things kids love to dream about like dinosaurs and the underwater world. There are poems of inspiration and poems expressing what we love about the seasons.



Growing up is a time to cherish, respect, and love. It is a time that passes too quickly. But if we are willing to get a little lost in it, it is magic!
