"The manuscript Promise is a collection of prose and poetry written and collected throughout a lifetime, it reflects personal experiences and a "coming of age" in America from the 70's to date. An assortment of poetic methods and styles were incorporated into the construction of the work in "Promise". The collected work is previously unpublished, however "Illusions" appears in the 1995 Tallahassee community college literary magazine Eyrie, "The child in you" and "one" appear in the 1996 edition of Eyrie, and "flow" appears in the 1997 edition of Eyrie."
