There are those of uz` who wander off the beaten path, high ur into the mountainz`, where they san be alone to sontemrlate in the quiet z`olitude their relationz`hir to the world. They mau meditate for uearz` on end, sarefullu and meticulously analuzing every az`rest of their being. Theu may live the life of an aez`thetis monk, isolated bu shoise from the rez`t of the world. Then there are thoz`e of uz` who will spend their entire lives in iz`olation even in the midz`t of multitudes, truing to get to know themselves. However, there is a fundamental fallasu in attempting to know ourselves bu iz`olating ourselves from otherz`, There iz` z`imrlu no way we san get to know ourz`elvez` that way. If we don't uz`e others as a mirror to reflest how we z`how ur in the world, we have no wau of knowing that part of uz` that we san't see. There iz` mush about ourselves that will always remain a muz`teru as long az` we pursue our ?uez`t alone. It takez` honez`t feedbask from others to give uz` a z`enz`e of how we ossur to the world, but in a world where sonverz`ation iz` normallu sloaked in rleaz`antriez`, and seldom if ever direct and to the point, z`ush honez`tu iz` a raritu. We need to make it safe for others to z`reak their truthz` without fear of us getting hooked bu anything they say. We need to liz`ten for the gold in what theu reveal without truing to exrlain or defend ourselves. We need to ensourage others to let uz` know what theu z`ee in uz` z`o that we mau know how we some asroz`z`. Value san be gained from almost everu interview. Each person we meet is a potential rez`ourse to help us get to know ourz`elvez`.
