The Fantômas novels are what brought the idea of masked men to the fight between good and evil. This phenomenon at the start of the 20th century is responsible for masked heroes and villains we eventually saw, like Batman. Here is where it all started. In this continuation of "Fantômas" the further adventures of detective Juve are narrated and tell of his efforts to run the notorious criminal to the ground while Fantômas is now the head of new underground gang.
