This is a first edition of a collection of sports material. This version is almost all about baseball. Some of it is from published material, some from journals and some of it is new. It is all over the road, but definitely a fun little sports read. Included is my Spring Report on MLB from March 1979 and March 1982. Also included is an in-depth story about a major league catcher who killed his family and then himself that you will find compelling, plus some of my material on Tommy McCarthy, the Southie guy in the Hall of Fame. Joe Kenda would be fascinated to read this one, as were the editors at Sports Illustrated.
