The Goddess Collection includes 10 fiber art pieces and 10 Goddess. The stories have all been adapted by Connie Dunn from their ancient origins rooted in folklore, mythology or sacred stories. The art illustrations are from the author/artist's Goddess Art Show. Goddess art has been around since ancient times, which decorated the individual temples. In contrast, this collection of art offers a fresh and colorful look at the Goddesses. The Goddess Collection's art pieces are fiber art, which means they are made from fiber, such as yarn, embroidery floss, fabric, felt, etc. Some of the pieces are mixed media, which means that they may include such things as stones, gems, and beads, as well the fiber.
