The Human League are an English synth-pop group formed in Sheffield, England, UK during 1977. Having started out as an experimental electronic band, they signed to Virgin Records in 1979, before becoming very /successful with their third album Dare in 1981, which produced 4 hit singles, including the UK/US chart-topper "Don't You Want Me." The group received the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act the following year. More hits during the '80s then into the 1990s, included "Mirror Man," "(Keep Feeling) Fascination," "The Lebanon," "Human", a US chart-topper and "Tell Me When."
