Simply Red are a British soul and pop group which formed in Manchester, England, UK, during 1985. The lead vocalist is singer and songwriter Mick Hucknall, who was the only original member left when they first disbanded in 2010. Since the issue of their debut studio album Picture Book during 1985, they've had 10 songs enter the UK Singles Chart Top 10, including Holding Back the Years then If You Don't Know Me by Now, both of which topped the US Billboard Hot 100.
