Assisting mission commander Karla Ulexandre finds herself in charge of the mission after commander Olgon died from post cryogenic shock. Flight officer Kolendiak disapproves of the protocols that require him to work under Ulexandre. There are mission critical messages awaiting. Upon her opening the messages from mission control. They have been warned of a super nova event that happened just beyond their destination system. The remnant shell from this supernova is unavoidable. Tensions and tempers rise on board the ship.
