Slow the F*ck Down

What the h*ll happened?I wasn't sure where the last twenty years had gone. I searched for them diligently...in my purse, under the bed, in the trunk of my car and even in the boxes out in the garage. It seemed they had just vanished. Poof. Gone.




Maybe I misplaced them.
Perhaps they had been stolen. Even my memory of them was foggy. When I tried to replay them in my head it was like watching an old reel to reel that was badly spliced together. Huge chunks of blurry time.




The truth hurts. I didn't lose them, I wasted them. Rushing around, hurrying here and there. Doing all the things that I thought would make us __________ (successful, happy, well-rounded and popular.....fill in your own blank and stop stealing mine.)




After I took the pity pop out of my mouth, I met a new friend. His name is Slow and I'd love to introduce you to him.
