We Gotta Make The Myths

This is part 1 of a journey that began in May 2017 when I decided to attend 50 cool premium concerts in one year and write about my experiences. I wanted to see live music up close and personal to answer many questions I had about the concert experience. I saw many fascinating things as I traveled from Chicago to LA to Colorado to New York to Nashville and more. This is a unique book looking at critical analysis of the music, concerts in general, part humorous autobiography, part helpful guide. My love of music took on new depths this year when I broke my back literally in the fall of 2017. I learned how much I truly love live music when the ability to see and hear it firsthand was taken away from me. Please note that the reason I began this journey in the first place was to offer up an honesty I felt was lacking in reviews and the fact concerts were not being adequately reviewed in this diy, fast paced, over in a minute Internet world. My opinions are strong and you may not like what I have to say sometimes, but I truly hope you can take something from this in some small way. The gift of sharing music is probably one of the single greatest gifts one can receive in this life, play it forward. Concerts in this edition include: The Struts, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Conor Oberst, Gorillaz, Phish, Fleetwood Mac, North Coast, Vance Joy, Lollapalooza, Buckingham and Mcvie, The Weeknd, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roger Waters, and more.
