Third in a series of Country Wives who were married to at least two Company Men. Marguerite Ah-dick (Ahdik) Songab was the country wife of Pe-wah-ah-kum (O-kit-chi-ta) a Chippewa, Peter Grant, and Charles Bottineau. This family history includes five generations and witnessed events and notes for baptisms, marriages, burials, employment history, scrip applications, censuses, treaties, annuity payments, participation in the Riel Rebellion, etc. Laura Bottineau Grey refers to her grandmother as Marguerite Ahdik Songab. Other reseearchers call her Marguerite Ah-dick Songab. The prior name is used in this edition.
