"Davonte 30:30" is a wonderful literary project inspired by the art, philosophy and morality of Davonte' J. Marshall. He talks about his journey through the first thirty years of his life and life after thirty. Another young black man growing up in the deep south in the heat of the #blacklivesmatter movement through his multi complied writing features he is able to talk about the true meaning of black excellence in a time where social injustices are being shoved into a prejudice narrative. Davonte uses his creative eloquence to put truth into power about the kidnappings in Nigeria and modern day slavery transpiring in Libya. His wonderful essays, poems and open letters embodies the reality of what growth is really meant to personify in the minds of every young man.
