Bunyan Characters in the Pilgrim Alexander Whyte

Dr. Whyte was a Scottish theologian of the 19th century and these are his observations on Bunyan's characters in "The Pilgrim's Progress." The book has become somewhat of a classic and has been reprinted several times. This edition is unique in that it has additional illustrations. Footnotes had been added enlightening the modern reader to some of the people of his time to whom he makes reference. A practical and useful supplement to reading "Pilgrim's Progress."
