The Shieldwall

An Historical saga based on 11th century England that follows the life of 'Wild Edric' in his ongoing battle to avenge the death of his parents and the destruction of his village by Welsh raiders, when he and a handful of his friends escape and are tutored in the ways of war by a fugative from a destroyed army. The unrelenting pace of this novel is a stirring tale of daring and heroism, revealing in the wars between the Britons (Welsh) and the Anglo Saxons (English) that had lasted for hundreds of years, culminating in the invasion of Harold Haldrada ( Hardruler ) as well as the invasion of Duke William of Normandy that both took place in the year of 1066.
