Drawing Fire

Invited to an artists' colony in Maine, Kate Corliss thinks she's gotten a lucky break. She's distracted from her efforts to rediscover her neglected talent, however, by a series of sinister events that seem to be directed at her. Why? Then a fellow artist dies, and the police say it's an accident-but Kate thinks otherwise. An ambitious friend, an anonymous benefactor, stolen artwork and a hidden gun contribute to a puzzle Kate needs to solve-to save her life.
