Jamaica knew the day would come that the Emperor would make another move. She just didn't expect it to be the moment she finished junior high. She also doesn't expect him to be so ruthless as to have his own brother kidnapped, or a member of her team killed. When her boyfriend Trace offers himself in her place as a captive, Jamaica draws the line and decides it's time to return to the Emperor's headquarters. However, new adversaries will create a challenge on her journey, both physical and psychological. Between an agent with questionable motives, and a partner with untold horrors in his past, Jamaica must once again question how black and white the sides of good and evil are. Forced to deal with the very real possibility of death, as well as being the cause of it, Jamaica begins to realize just what kind of role she was born to. And it pushes her to ask herself if she can fill such a demanding position.
