The year is 2051. The big burn has divided the United States. Wind whips through the endless desert wasteland between the Rockies and the Appalachian mountains. Coastal states, much of which have been swallowed by the rising tides, have turned into mega cities. And just as climate change tightened its grasp around the country, the plagues began. Those that survived awoke to a different world. One with a new set of rules. Welcome to the world of INFECTIOUS. Money's tight in the midst of the plague. Renee, a call girl turned thief, has to find a future fast. After a shootout at a local pawn shop she discovers there's another commodity bringing massive returns on the street, CASH FOR OLD. Kickbacks from doctors, prescription drugs, social security benefits-- all for the taking. That is if she can maintain her herd. After seizing a working old farm, Renee becomes a part of the nouveau riche, but money doesn't solve all of her problems. And with the competition thickening and laws tightening, Renee has to decide whether she wants keep her cattle or sell the farm.
