Ocean waves and clear open skies, deep night-ness and sleepy navy lullabies. Blue has always been, for me, a symbol of strength and wisdom and struggle and hurt all at once. Peaceful, sure, but complex and beautiful in every form. HUES: Blue was birthed during a time I needed to explore my own humanity and heavy emotion and often times learn to be okay with lows existing in the first place. HUES: Blue is my battle cry, my confrontation with confusion, hopelessness and hurt before living out extreme gratitude for discovery and freedom. Raise your fists with me as you thumb through every set-back, sit-down, knock-out and one more round and remember, we may feel as if we we're drowning in the deepest darkest hue of blue, but we can emerge triumphant with the most beautiful turquoise heart the world has ever seen.
