World War II ended just a year ago. As the world begins to put itself back together, Professor Emmitt Carter and his daughter Kate are investigating an ancient, mysterious artifact that may have played a key role in founding early civilizations.
Before they know it, the Carters are caught up in a dangerous race to find and control this powerful artifact. When her father suddenly disappears, Kate is forced to hire Buck Haggard and his partner Jock, two expatriated soldiers-of-fortune living in South America, to find her father.
As Buck, Jock and Kate follow Emmitt's trail to Palestine, they quickly discover this is more than a rescue mission. They are competing with a Nazi remnant and an ancient secret society, both determined to find and control what may be the most dangerous object the world has ever known.
