Getting a Life was written for recovering alcoholics who want to start working on the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous but aren't sure how to go about it. Formerly a daily drinker, the author is a recovering alcoholic who has been sober for over 30 continuous years.



The beginning of any journey or lifestyle change can be overwhelming. This little book offers practical strategies and gentle guidance in the challenging transition from addiction to sobriety.



Exercises at the end of each chapter provide a framework that allows the reader to review each Step and apply the information in the text to his or her own life.
