Fine Feathers and Bijoux: the Story of a Show Dancer in the 50's

This story is about the adventures and work of dancer Carole Darg from Finchley and it is a true story about her life as a show dancer in 1957 until 1963 with the Bluebell dancers at the Lido and Moulin Rouge in Paris and also at the Folies Bergere in Paris and on a tour of Europe between1959 until 1961.

The book also includes stories about her dancing work in London's nightclubs and ''Talk of the Town' with the Billy Petch dancers who were also chosen to dance in the Royal Variety Performance in 1962 before the Queen Mother.

The famous 'Beatles' were on the bill and that was very exciting for us girls and women were trying to climb up drainpipes to get up to the Beatle's dressing room what splendid chaps they were too and they brought a new fresh wonderful type of entertainment to the public that was very exciting.

I sincerely hope that you will enjoy reading this book and that it brings much pleasure and nostalgia into your life.
