Duncan Anderson
This book is an interesting compilation of odd lore encountered by the author as a youth in Scotland. With more than a few references to kelpies, hags, and other oddities, it is not solely about spiritual topics, but is important as local mythology regardless. Partially humorous, some of the stories in this work are as hilarious now as a century ago- related to madness, marriage, and other funny topics. It ought to be noted that the author is slightly disdainful of some spook stories related to the very young as causing unnecessary fright.
