Why would Yahoveh (YHVH) God, in the Book of the Revelation, call Christians to come out of the Christian Church, and call the Church Babylon? Is Christianity really Babylon? I thought YHVH God wanted all people to be Christians so they could believe in Jesus and be saved, right? That's what the Christian Church tells us, but do YHVH God and Jesus tell us something different in the Book of the Revelation, or the rest of the Scriptures? Keep reading and you will have your answer - and it may surprise you. This being the last book written in the New Testament era, unlike other New Testament books, it was not written to convince the Jews that Jesus is the Messiah and it was not written to convert pagans to worship the true God. This book was written to the already established church and it must be understood in that context. Yet, most of those inside the Christian Church refuse to believe that Jesus is calling all people in the Christian Church to "come out of her", only a few will leave. The Book of the Revelation itself tells us why God said that and what it means to "come out of her".
